1. You must provide one of the documents below to purchase:

1. Color ID card from Colombia, Ecuador, or any Central American country (Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, or Panama),
2. OR proof of residency from these countries, such as a Utility bill, bank statement, or an official document issued within the last three months. The document must include your full name, current address, and date of issue.

2. How to extend to 1 year:

For Gold status, you must earn 5,000 qualifying miles, with a minimum of 2,000 from Avianca flights.

For Diamond, 11,250 qualifying miles, and a minimum of 3,750 must from Avianca flights.

3. What airlines can I use the membership:

The Avianca Gold or Diamond status are both Star Alliance gold. It works on all Star Alliance flights such as United, Air Canada, Swiss Airlines, Turkish Airlines, SAS, Copa Airlines, Air Newzealand, Air China etc.
